Will Smith is spending time in the studio with Kanye West and taking lyrical advice from Jaden Smith, his 16-year-old son, as he gives serious thought to the idea of putting out his first new music in nearly a decade.

It was in 2005 when now-46-year-old Smith released his last album, "Lost and Found" and it's been nearly two decades since he was still "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," but that might all be about to change real soon.

"I went into the studio with Kanye -- sort of top secret, so maybe. Maybe," he told Express while in London for the premiere of his new film "Focus."

The Grammy Award-winning rapper is also taking tips from his musician son Jaden.

"... I'm thinking about it," Smith said. "I'm exploring. I'm in a creative ceiling. My son tells me I have to write out the things I don't like."

In his upcoming movie "Focus," Smith stars as an experienced conman alongside 24-year-old co-star Margot Robbie.

Smith claims the first time his Hollywood actress wife Jada Pinkett-Smith saw Robbie up close and personal, she made only one demand of him.

"Jada saw Margot and she said, 'You're going to the gym right now. You need to be in shape. Do not walk on set with that girl and embarrass me,'" Smith said. "So we went to the gym and we trained a lot. When you're on camera with Margot Robbie, you've got to have it all the way together."

Margot also plays as Smith's love interest in the comedy-drama and the former "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star claims some of the intimate scenes made for plenty of intense moments.

"There was a whole lot of sexiness going on," he joked.

The pair is also slated to star in the superhero flick "Suicide Squad," in which Smith with play the part of the assassin Deadshot.

As for "Focus," Smith has reportedly told reporters that the movie "really marks a transition in my life and emotionally and in my career."

"Focus" hits theaters Feb. 27.
