There will be a lot to look forward to when "Bones" returns from its winter hiatus with new episodes next month as the team continues to take on intriguing cases and Brennan and Booth prepares to expand their family.

Late last year, the show writers announced that they will incorporate Emily Deschanel's real-life pregnancy into the show. However, the couple will try to keep their second expectancy as a secret from their coworkers, reports TVLine.

According to TVLine, actor T.J. Thyne remained mum when asked why Booth and Brennan will choose to keep Brennan's pregnancy shrouded in secrecy. However, he did reveal that their way of handling the pregnancy makes for a "really fun episode where they're very giddy and excited,"

"... and we're all like, 'What the hell is going on with the two of them?!'" Thyne continued.

In December, executive producer Stephen Nathan released a statement confirming the a new addition to Booth and Brennan's family.

"We are so happy for Emily," he wrote. "As before, rather than try to hide this from a sophisticated audience, we are integrating her pregnancy into the show. Booth and Brennan, like most couples today, will continue to work, play and catch murderers -- maybe they're unique in this respect -- as their family grows. As with most new situations that have arisen in 10 years, we feel that this can only enhance the show. Although I'm sure there will be a vocal group of fans eager to attack me, I hope they will be pleasantly surprised by what we have in store."

It was also revealed that veteran actress Linda Lavin will be featured on "Bones" when the long-running forensic comedy series returns from its winter hiatus next month. Lavin, who recently appeared on "The Good Wife," will guest star as a criminal courts judge in an upcoming episode titled "The Verdict in the Victims." In the episode, Booth and Brennan will petition the judge to stop the execution of a condemned killer who they believe is innocent.

"Bones" will return on Thursday, March 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
