Faith Hill, Tim McGraw Relationship News 2015: Couple Debuts New Looks, Talk Nerves at Oscars 2015 [Watch]
The 2015 Oscars red carpet was full of surprises, but none as eye-popping as country singers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill who were nearly unrecognizable -- McGraw without his signature goatee and cowboy hat, and Hill sporting a pixie haircut.
The 47-year-old queen of country debuted a shorter pixie cut than we've ever seen, along with a plunging ivory gown with long sleeves and baroque swirl embroidery. The gown is straight off the New York Fashion Week runway courtesy of J. Mendel. The 1920s-inspired gown draped Hill's slender frame beautifully. She added simple teardrop diamond studs and a matching pendant necklace to complete the classy, glamorous look.
McGraw, also 47, looked handsome and more polished than we have ever seen him in a black Lanvin tuxedo.
Before entering the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the event on Sunday night, the stunning couple spoke with Ryan Seacrest about McGraw singing his Oscar-nominated song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from the 2014 film and documentary "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me."
"It's such a big event, and there's so many great people out here. And this is a pretty special song. To be asked to do this, and be at this, and with Glen and the legacy he's left in music, it's pretty special," McGraw told Seacrest.
He also confessed he is on edge while watching his wife perform, too. "When you see somebody you love up there, it's a lot more," he said. "You're not in control."
Hill shared that she'll feel similar during her husband's performance.
"It'll be tough in the audience for me," she said. "Apologies to anyone sitting by me for what I might do."
She also had advice for her husband.
"Take a few very deep breaths before going out," she told him, adding for the viewers at home, "He's ready, he's prepared. ... We all love Glen so much."
