Nicki Minaj & Safaree Samuels Breakup News Update 2015: K. Michelle Reportedly Spends Valentine's Day With 'Only' Rapper's Ex-Boyfriend, Twerks to His Song [Video]
Nicki Minaj's rapper ex Safaree Samuels is now rumored to be dating R&B diva and rival K. Michelle.
According to TMZ, after initially openly struggling with his split from Minaj, Samuels more recently has been "getting much closer" with K. Michelle. The website reports, though not considered to be exclusive, the two now regularly text one another and talk on the phone almost every night.
During the recent Valentine's Day weekend, the two were reportedly spotted in the VIP section of Manhattan's Stage 48 nightclub hanging out for at last two hours. This week, Samuels reportedly followed up on that encounter by sending his presumed new love interest a bouquet of her favorite sunflowers.
And as if that isn't enough, K. Michelle recently sealed their growing closeness by posting a video of herself twerking to one of Safaree's most recent tunes.
After dating for more than several years, Minaj and Samuels recently called it quits, and since then she has been romantically linked to Philly rapper Meek Mill. The "Anaconda" rap star and her newfound boo are scheduled to hit the road together soon as part of her "PinkPrint" summer tour.
"The Pinkprint TOUR comes to America this summer with @meekmill and MORE," Minaj recently posted on her Instagram page. "Can't wait to unveil the rest of the line up! Loveeeee."
Thirty-two-year-old Minaj has previously been romantically linked to rap stars Drake and Lil' Wayne. She recently turned heads during NBA All-Star Weekend for her performance alongside Ariana Grande.
K.Michelle, meanwhile, has publicly dated athletes J.R. Smith, Lance Stephenson and Chris Johnson. She has also been linked to the likes of actor Idris Elba and singers R. Kelly and Mase.
Minaj and Meek are also slated to perform at this week's annual CIAA hoops tournament in Charlotte, NC.
