Lil Boosie 2015: 'Betrayed' Rapper Missed Charlotte Show Because of Dehydration
On Friday, rapper Lil Boosie was hospitalized in North Carolina for dehydration.
TMZ reports the Louisiana native started feeling frail while traveling to a show in Charlotte, North Carolina. Boosie then made a stop at the hospital and doctors discovered he was extremely dehydrated and hooked him up with intravenous fluids.
Due to his hospitalization, Boosie was forced to cancel his Charlotte show, but he is out of the hospital and now desperately trying to make it to his show in Georgia, says TMZ.
Boosie has not spoken publicly about his hospitalization, but his reps claim he is doing okay.
Boosie's hospitalization comes on the heels of a shootout that occurred in a North Carolina club, Label, during the celebrations for the CIAA.
On Saturday, two shots were fired at a CIAA college concert headlined by T.I., Yo Gotti and Young Jeezy, TMZ reports.
Fortunately, no one was killed; however, two people suffered minor injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
No one was arrested and none of the celebrities performing were injured. At the time of the shooting, T.I. was not on stage and Jeezy and Yo Gotti were allegedly in the V.I.P section.
TMZ reached out to T.I.'s management and they say the ATL rapper is doing fine.
It has not been confirmed who fired the shots at the party, however TMZ claims that police have an unidentified suspect.
Label has since released a statement claiming that the club will cooperate with police officials. However, the club will continue on with its scheduled events despite the shooting.
"The exact circumstances concerning the incident have yet to be determined. Officials at Label are cooperating with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department concerning their investigation of this matter," Label reps said in an official statement obtained by Rolling Stone. "Tonight's events at Label will take place as scheduled. It should be noted that there will continue to be very substantial security for all Label events during tournament weekend."
