Footage of Dakota Johnson hilariously mocking her much bantered-about role in "Fifty Shade Of Grey" during a "Saturday Night Life" skit that was cut during her recent stint as host of the show has hit the airwaves.

HollywoodLife.com reports the skit features Johnson and Christian (cast regular Kyle Mooney) in the red room of pain as it is being renovated by construction workers who incessantly crack jokes about various sex toys. Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan star in the roles of the construction crew members.

"So nice to finally put a face to the measurements," Moynihan opined after meeting one of the female characters.

"I had to move the swing by the choke-stool," the other said as Keenan Thompson lurks nearby in the red swing hanging from the ceiling.

The good-natured reviews come at an opportune time for Johnson, who, along with show creators, continues to face some backlash stemming from a skit on the show where she plays a teen girl joining the terror group ISIS, according to HollywoodLife.com.

Killam also stars in that skit as the father of the girl, driving his daughter to link up with other terror group members. Some fans of the show immediately took to social media to blast the segment, with some of them even vowing to never watch "SNL" again.

Johnson also recently drew attention for a spat she had with her mother, Melanie Griffith, on the red carpet at the Oscars. The awkward moment came about when an ABC TV host asked Griffith if she had seen her daughter sizzle in some of the sexually explicit scenes from "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"No," replied Griffith. "I don't think I can. I think it would be strange."

A clearly perturbed Johnson then retorted: "All right! You don't have to see it."
