Alejandra Espinoza Baby News: 'La Banda' Host Posts Video of Her Belly Moving, Jokes That Her Son Is a Fan of 'Nuestra Belleza Latina' [Watch]
Alejandra Espinoza's baby is almost here. Espinoza posted a video of the baby moving and kicking on her Instagram page Sunday.
Espinoza was told by others that it is typical for her baby to not move as much in the last few weeks of pregnancy.
"In the last few weeks he's not going to move a lot they told me, or is it that he is worked up after hearing all the jokes on @nuestrabellezalatina hahaha," she said.
Espinoza is now 37 weeks pregnant, and the baby could be coming any day. Espinoza has said she wants to have the baby the natural way and with few drugs.
"I do not want to be medicated because I take seven pills everyday. Two weeks ago, I injected once a day, now I inject twice a day. I'm tired of medicines, I'd rather be in pain," she recently said.
A little over a week ago, Espinoza thought she was going into labor and headed to the hospital. It turned out to be a false alarm, and she was sent home after a routine medical exam. Espinoza believes her baby, Matteo, weighs about eight pounds and is soon ready to be introduced to the world.
When she's not thinking about her baby, she is writing about "La Banda," which will be her first solo hosting gig. The show aims to find the next Latin boy band, and Univision is teaming up with Simon Cowell for the program.
But Espinoza has documented her pregnancy very well.
Just three days ago, Espinoza posted a three photo collage of herself in a white patterned dress. She looks extremely happy and excited for the baby.
That same day, Espinoza and her friend, Ana Patricia, went shopping looking for some funny shirts for their new babies. The shirt Espinoza put up to her belly was an ultrasound picture of a baby with the caption #tbt. Patricia had a shirt that read, "I think I need a nap, but first... let me take a selfie."
