Suge Knight News: Full Video of Deadly Crash Emerges Online
A video of the incident where Suge Knight runs over the two men that lead to the murder charge he now faces emerged online on Monday.
TMZ released the footage of Knight arriving at a Tam's Burgers in Compton, where the film "Straight Outta Compton," produced by Dr. Dre, was being filmed and was immediately confronted by Cle "Bone" Sloan, who was doing security for the film.
TMZ alleges, "You clearly see Bone attacking Suge through the driver's window, when Suge suddenly throws the truck in reverse, clipping Bone with the side view mirror and knocking him down."
Terry Carter, the man who died in the incident, can be seen standing near Bone, just before the two are struck by a car.
In the aftermath, Knight has insisted he was not trying to strike either man but was simply trying to protect himself after being violently attacked. Knight's attorneys have insisted both Bone and Carter had guns during the encounter. TMZ adds as Bones lays on the ground bleeding a man can be seen walking up to him and removing something from his waistband.
Still, law enforcement officials insist the video proves Knight could have escaped hitting Bone in at least one instance. But Suge's people say he was intimidated by the group assembling next to his car and feared if he drove past them he would've be shot.
Knight now stresses he believes the video exonerates him, while prosecutors insist it proves just the opposite. Carter's family has since asked TMZ to post the full video now in their hands.
"The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third-party descriptions of the video," said family attorney Gary Dordick.
