Are you a fan of "The Avengers?" Do you think Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye needs more time to shine?

Well, you just might be in luck because he is reportedly going to be getting more on-screen time.

While all of the Avengers have taken on colossal tasks, Renner's Hawkeye has taken on the least, but that may soon change. So far in "The Avengers," we've seen Hawkeye work with the bad guys as his fellow "S.H.I.E.L.D." operative and close pal Black Widow accompanied "Captain America" in last year's "The Winter Soldier." Hawkeye didn't embark on that adventure to make room for Captain America's new pal, Falcon.

Despite recent buzz on Twitter that Hawkeye might not survive the battle from scenes from "Avengers: Age of Ultron's" recent trailer, it seems that Hawkeye won't exit the Marvel Cinematic Universe after all.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Renner and Amy Adams are set to star together in the sci-fi drama "Story of Your Life," an adaptation of a short story by Ted Chiang.

Also in the story were some Hawkeye clues, including, "He will shoot 'Captain America: Civil War' this spring, then segue to 'Story of Your Life' in mid-June, working with Villeneuve, considered one of the hottest directors in town and who just booked the sequel to 'Blade Runner.'"

"That seems to confirm what Renner teased as a possibility months ago: That he'll be joining Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans in the third 'Captain America' flick, which looks set to pit Cap against Tony Stark in some kind of ideological battle spinning out of the events of 'Age of Ultron," according to one report.

"'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' directors Joe and Anthony Russo are returning to helm the film, and they've got a lot to handle, because these days the project is looking less like a Cap movie and more like Avengers 2.5. In addition to Downey, Evans and, now, Renner, the film will also feature Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Chadwick Boseman as the much-anticipated Black Panther. It also seems to be the place where Marvel will debut the new incarnation of Spider-Man."

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron," opens May 1. Renner will follow that up with "Mission: Impossible 5," which opens on July 31.
