'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D' Season 2 Episodes, Cast & News: Who is the Blue Man Revealed?
Marvel has teased audiences in the last episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D with an unidentified blue man.
The blue man resembles the alien body seen in last year's episode "T.A.H.I.T.I."
According to Marvel.com, the images posted are "a mysterious headshot that foreshadows some surprise revelations in this week's episode."
The latest sneak peek also shows Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) return. According to the latest description, "Coulson and team come to the aid of a confused Lady Sif, who has lost her memory after fighting with a mysterious warrior, whose true mission will send shockwaves through S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, Bobbi and Mack continue to hide their true mission from everyone close to them."
The preview also shows Lady Sif attack a couple of civilians in Portugal. When the civilians are unable to help Sif, she uses her superhero powers and throws one of the men to the ground.
The ABC and Marvel series is a spinoff of the Avengers films and according to the synopsis the series is about the missions of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Throughout the first series, Marvel and ABC have tried to connect the series to the Avengers and tried to give hints at the upcoming films.
The network has also done the same with the recent series "Agent Carter," which tells the adventures of agent Peggy Carter. Carter, like Agent Coulson in "S.H.I.E.L.D, appeared in the Avengers films and had crucial roles in the series.
The first season of "S.H.I.E.L.D" was a huge success for ABC as the series scored one Primetime EMMY nomination as well as a Kids Choice Award, a People's Choice Award nomination and a TV Guide Award nomination. The series also scored rave reviews as it obtained a 93 percent aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The series stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Ruth Negga and Patton Oswalt. The brand-new episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will air on Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.
