'The Originals' Season 2 Episode 16 Spoilers: Dahlia Tries to Steal Hope's Power in 'Save My Soul' [Videos]
There will be more Mikaelson family drama when Dahlia makes her first appearance on "The Originals" on Monday night's all-new episode.
During last week's episode, Rebecca discovered that her new body previously belonged to a powerful and evil witch named Eva Sinclair who wants to regain control of her body. In addition, she is wanted for murdering most of the teens of the French Quarter.
In the trailer for the upcoming episode, which is titled "Save My Soul," Rebekah tells Davina that "the rightful owner of this body is waking up inside me and she's angry."
Dahlia, a power-hungry and vengeful witch played by actress Claudia Black, will also be introduced on the show on Monday.
"In this episode we get our first look at Dahlia, the witch that everyone's been talking about," teased Julie Plec in a video interview. However, her obsession for power will draw her to Baby Hope so she can steal the child's power and make it her own, Freya tells her brothers Klaus and Elijah in the promo.
"[Dahlia] will come here to take the child's power for herself," says Freya. "She would kill anyone who would defy her."
According to The Hollywood Hills, the official synopsis for "Save My Soul" reads as follows:
"Suspicious of where her true loyalties lie, Klaus will invite Freya to the compound in order to gain more insight into her past with Dahlia. After a series of strange visions, Rebekah will begin to realize the body she's inhabiting, is attempting to regain control.
With Rebekah's life on the line, Marcel will put his bargaining skills to the test when he turns to Vincent, who may have some knowledge that could help them. Lastly, at the bayou, Jackson's frustrations will grow after Aiden questions his leadership skills."
Season 2, Episode 16 of "The Originals," "Save My Soul," will premiere Monday, March 16, on the CW.
