'The Good Wife' Season 6 Episode 16 Spoilers and Synopsis: Will Peter Hurt Alicia's Campaign in 'Red Meat?' [WATCH]
There will be more drama in Sunday's all-new episode of "The Good Wife" when Peter Florrick gives an interview that puts Alicia's political aspirations in jeopardy.
Tension will rise in the next episode, which is titled "Red Meat," after Peter flubs an interview that hurts Alicia's chances of winning the election. In addition, Chris Noth's character will make controversial remarks that could end up turning the tide in the election, notes Carter Matt.
TVLine also dropped spoilers about the show, teasing that Diane will accept her husband Kurt's invitation to a three-day trip to the Wyoming woods, and while there, she will connect with R.D., a high roller played by guest star Oliver Platt.
According to Carter Matt, the synopsis reads as follows:
"Alicia's political future is on the line when Peter gives an interview that could influence voter turnout on Election Day. Meanwhile, a weekend getaway with Kurt and his affluent hunting buddies could lead Diane to a prosperous new client for the firm, on THE GOOD WIFE, Sunday, March 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Oliver Platt guest stars as R.D., an influential figure in conservative politics, Gary Cole returns as Kurt McVeigh, and David Hyde Pierce returns as Frank Prady."
Preview photos from the upcoming April 5 episode reveals that "American Horror Story" actress Lily Rabe will reprise her role as newswoman Petra Moritz. Platt will also appear in the episode.
The logline reads as follows: "Still reeling from the cyber-hack at her law firm, Alicia is ambushed with questions about her leaked emails during a television interview. Meanwhile, Diane takes on a case that pits her sympathies towards gay marriage against the rights of religious freedom. Also, an investigator starts looking into the evidence Diane used to get Cary out of prison."
Season 6 Episode 16 of "The Good Wife," "Red Meat" will air on Sunday, March 22, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
