Proving once again that they're about as subtle and understated as a kick to the head, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have announced that they're looking into the Palace of Versailles as the site for their upcoming nuptials.

A Kanye insider has told Us Weekly, "Kanye has never been married and wants a big [wedding]. They are not working with a budget. He says this is his moment, marrying his ideal woman. " In addition, the couple has hired celebrity wedding planner Sharon Sacks to coordinate the wedding; Sacks has been coordinating parties for the Kardashians for years.

The Palace of Versailles was once home to Marie Antoinette, she of the "let them eat cake" infamy. It's also been the site of many political functions, films, and social affairs. If these plans go through, it will be the first time in a long time (at least 200 years) that a wedding will be held at the infamous palace.

It's a good thing the couple -- parents to 6 month old North West -- aren't working with a budget, because according to Hollywood Life by Bonnie Fuller, renting the rooms in the infamous palace start at $150,000 per day. Of course, as is everything else in the Kardashian world, it will be filmed for an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." There will also be fighter jets and fireworks flying overhead.

A few weeks ago, Kanye was on Hot 97, and he mentioned how happy he was to be marrying Kim Kardashian. "I loved her from the first day I saw her. I knew, 100 percent [that she was the one]. I had to work for it. I knew what I wanted. I knew I wanted this family," he told the radio station.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
