'Dancing With the Stars' Cast News: Redfoo and Emma Slater Eliminated, Patti Labelle Salsas to 50 Cent's 'In Da Club'
The celebrities on "Dancing with the Stars" had the chance to choose their favorite songs during Monday's episode.
The #MyJamMonday show let the competitors choose the songs they would end up dancing salsa, jive, the foxtrot, rumba and other dance styles.
Even though Redfoo and Emma Slater received the third highest score (31 out of 40) for their jive performance of "My Sharona," the pair was eliminated. Judge Carrie Ann had some great comments about the performance.
"You killed it! Last week you were all over the place!" Carrie Ann said.
Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough earned the highest score of the night, a score of 34 out of 40. Judges Carrie Ann and Bruno both gave the two a 9 for their rumba performance to "Thinking Out Loud." Bruno said the two had "marvelous motion."
Receiving a 32 out of 40, Riker Lynch and Allison Holker had a fine Foxtrot performance to the song "Sugar." "You look so handsome, I didn't recognize you," Carrie Ann said about the performance.
An odd song choice to salsa to was picked by Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev when the pair decided to salsa to 50 Cent's "In Da Club." All four judges were not overly impressed and they all gave the pair a 7.
Chris Soules and Witney Carson had trouble Monday with their cha-cha to the song "Time of Our Lives." Entertainment Weekly said that Soules started the performance loose but then looked stuff for the rest of the performance. "Your Monday jam got in a little bit of a pickle," Len said. Judges agreed that this performance was the worst of the night giving the pair a low score of 21.
Willow Shields and Mark Ballas earned a 32 for their tango to "Somebody That I Used to Know." "You have such maturity in your dance," Len said.
