"NBA 2K15" received an update to address issues that affected the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PCs. The game is also offering more MyTEAM players.

The update is said to be a "major" one, PlayStation Lifestyle reports. It addresses multiple issues in the game.

For all three systems

The update fixes an error where shoes would be purchased in the MyPLAYER Store but then would revert to the unpurchased state after leaving the menu.

When a player signs an endorsement deal with a shoe company in MyCAREER mode, shoes from that brand will once again be wearable by the MyPLAYER character.

Several improvements were made to the progression and regression of players that causes player ratings to either go up or down in the MyGM, MyLEAGUE and MyCAREER modes.

There was a rare case where a user's team would trade for the upcoming pick mid-draft in MyGM and MyLEAGUE modes but then the team that traded away the pick would still keep rights to the player.

An "auto-hesitation" dribble animation was removed when players would get near defenders. Also, the sprint to jog transition was smoothed out in the back court.

Shot percentages were altered to make a more obvious difference between open and covered shots. This means open shots will be easier to make than those where a player is guarded closely.

Xbox One Only

Online games will no longer disconnect when someone minimizes the title and then came back to the Team Select screen while waiting for an online game to start.

Gamertags that are updated outside the game will be updated in the Roster Creator interface. This was not happening prior to the fix.

According to the official "NBA 2K15" Twitter page, new special characters will be available for MyTEAM. Onyx players include 1994-95 Clyde Drexler and 1967-68 Jerry Lewis.
