2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards: Gaby Espino & Pedro Fernandez to Host Telemundo Award Show
Telenovela actress Gaby Espino and "La Voz Kids" coach Pedro Fernandez will host the prestigious 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards show on April 30, according to Billboard.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards are the longest running awards show in the Latin music world. The show will be broadcast live from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. It will begin airing at 7 p.m. ET on Telemundo.
Already confirmed to perform at the awards show are J Balvin, Carlos Vives and Daddy Yankee. Special honorees Roberto Carlos and Carlos Santana are also scheduled to perform. Carlos will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Santana will receive the Spirit of Hope Award.
Espino, who starred in "Santa Diabla," has been hosting Premios Tu Mundo since 2012, which is when it began airing.
Fernandez has been acting and singing since he was a child. He was previously working for Univision, and was even the lead in "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo." After dropping out for reported health reasons, he began working for Telemundo on "La Voz Kids."
The Billboard Latin Music Awards give out awards for the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin Music. The awards are determined by actual sales, radio airplay, streaming and social data that give the Billboard charts their weekly data.
