'NCIS' Season 12 Episode 20 Spoilers: Tony and Zoe Set to Take Relationship to Next Level?
In Season 12, Episode 20 of "NCIS," entitled "No Good Deed," Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Zoe appear on the verge of taking their relationship to the next level when he takes her to meet his father.
According to CarterMatt, Tony Sr. is coming back to town, and there's a chance Zoe may find their initial experience to be a bit daunting.
Airing Tuesday, April 7, the episode also finds Tony and Zoe partnering to work on a complex case that is expected to stir up "tension" between their respective NCIS and ATF agencies.
The website adds, "this will by far be the most important episode for the Zoe-Tony relationship. Sometimes, you really do not get a sense of how you full feel about someone until you are completely in your element with them, and around people you've known for almost your entire life. For him, having Zoe around McGee or Gibbs is one thing, but Tony Sr. is a very different story."
Episode 19 dealt with the murder of naval physician Commander Brian Haber, according to CBS. Ziva and Burley speak to a witness who leads them to another crew member, who might have had something to do with Haber's death on USS Borealis.
They see that he is not a likely suspect because he did not have steady hands.
The episode also was a big moment for McGee, who was having trouble dealing with his father's cancer.
Now in its 12th season, the popular show has led to several spinoffs, including "NCIS: Los Angeles and "NCIS: New Orleans."
In 2011, the show was voted America's favorite TV show and Harmon was selected as America's favorite TV star, according to TV by the Numbers. Show officials have yet to publicly declare if the show will be returning for another season, though executive producer Gary Glasberg did recently confirm that this season's finale will end with a cliffhanger, increasing the need for a new season pick up, according to Renew Cancel TV.
