The next episode of "Bones" will be very interesting and dramatic as the Jeffersonian team looks for the common thread in a series of ritualistic murders.

A preview of the new episode, which is called "The Baker in the Bits," reveals that the team will go on the hunt to find a crazed murderer who kills four people.

In addition, Cam and Arastoo will come to a crossroads in their relationship when Arastoo is forced to make a heart-wrenching decision between going back to Iran to take care of his dying brother or listening to Cam's pleas not to go and risk his life.

"He goes back because his brother is dying. That will come back in a very, very major way later on in the season," teased executive producer Stephen Nathan to TV Guide. "The only way he can leave is to solve a particularly sensitive murder, and of course he can't do it without help."

Meanwhile, Brennan and Booth will bump heads over their different viewpoints about men who get caught up in the criminal justice system.

ScreenSpy also warns that there will be a surprise ending and that a member of the Jeffersonian team will receive bad news.

According to Carter Matt, the synopsis reads as follows:

"When the body of an ex-con is found in pieces, the Jeffersonian team investigates a local bakery known for employing former felons. But they soon learn that the victim was involved in a robbery gone bad, and start targeting suspects from the ex-con's past. Meanwhile, 'squintern' Arastoo Vazirir (guest star Pej Vahdat) must decide whether to return to Iran to visit his dying brother, which causes friction between him and Cam."

"Bones" will return with Season 10, Episode 17, "The Baker in the Bits," on Thursday, April 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
