In the upcioming April 28 episode of "New Girl," Jess (Zooey Deschanel) brands herself a "love doctor," and Ernie "Coach" Tagliaboo (Daman Wayans Jr.) finds himself facing a "life-changing" decision.

According to Spoilers Guide, "Panty Gate" also finds Schmidt (Max Greenfield) "taking the fall to help Fawn out of a political scandal."

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Reporter announcedFred Armisen is set to star in at least one episode of the show during Season 5, as a new temporary roommate at the loft where Jess also resides. Stephen Rannazzisi and Ally Maki are also expected to guest star.

The website adds Wayans Jr. is scheduled to leave the show at the end of the season, thus creating the vacancy in the residency, where Armisen's character will at least briefly reside.

During that same episode, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Schmidt convert the loft into a designated Airnb spot, and at one point Rannazzisi appears as a "frenemy of both men from college."

Fox Network execs recently announced the show will be returning for a fifth season and, according to TVLine, production on the new season has already started, partly to accomodate Deschannel's rumored pregnancy several media outlets have reported.

Deschannel, 35, was nominated for a People's Choice Favorite Comedic TV Actress Award for her role this year, going up against a field of competitors that included Amy Poehler, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Melissa McCarthy and Sofia Vergara.

The new cast members join Anna George, who is set to star as CeCe's (Hannah Simone) mother next season. The Hollywood Reporter adds the "Panty Gate" episode is directed by fellow cast member Lamorne Morris, who stars as Winston.

Zoe Lister guest stars in that episode as Fawn Moscato and Meaghan Rath plays May.
