Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Kim and Kanye's daughter North West visited the Kardashian home country of Armenia on Wednesday, reports ABC News.

Armenia, officially the Republic of Armenia, is a mountainous country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia, near both Turkey and Iran. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian's father, the late Robert Kardashian, was the son of Armenian-American parents Helen and Arthur Kardashian.

Kim and Khloe reportedly wanted to visit the country to learn more about their Armenian heritage.

"Armenia we are here!!!!! We are so grateful to be here & start this journey of a lifetime! Thank you to everyone who greeted us! I can't wait to explore our country and have some yummy food! #MyDadAndGrandParentsWouldBeSoProud," Kim, 34, wrote on Instagram.

Kim also shared a picture of her husband, West, 37, and daughter, North, 1.

"My husband and daughter came to Armenia as well to see my heritage and learn about my ancestors! My cousins came along too! So excited I can't sleep," she wrote.

On Thursday morning, Khloe, 30, posted a picture on Instagram with this caption, "Visiting the Mother Armenia statue today in Yerevan. The Mother Armenia statue symbolizes peace through strength. It can remind viewers of some of the prominent female figures in Armenian history. Who took up arms to help their husbands in their clashes with Turkish troops and Kurdish irregulars. I am woman hear me roar! Blessed to be here!!!"

Khloe, who admitted that she is a bit "OCD" while traveling, packed enough vitamins and supplements for a small country.

When the Kardashian-West clan arrived at their hotel, a crowd of admirers and journalists awaited.

Khloe wrote about the experience on Instagram, "The love and welcoming to Armenia has been overwhelmingly beautiful!!! I wholeheartedly, can't believe all of you Angels who are outside our hotel with flowers and smiles. Im incredibly eager to get some sleep and see Armenia in the day light! I hope I'm able to sleep. I'm so excited to be here!!"

Kim's rep, Ina Treciokas, told USA Today the visit is a family trip to the old country, and that it will be featured later on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
