‘The Night Shift’ Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: Drew Disarms Shooter at Ceremony, Ragosa Deals With Financial Issues [Watch]
On the next episode of "The Night Shift," "Parenthood," which is scheduled to air on April 13 on NBC, Dr. Drew Alister receives two of his best friends in the ER following a shooting at a ceremony for an Army promotion.
According to Spoilers Guide, this unfolds as Drew disarms the shooter, and after treating his best friend's wife for a bullet wound, he quickly finds out that a severe medical condition affects her and it can be much scarier than a gunshot wound.
Other events happening in this episode of "The Night Shift" include a woman with rapidly expanding psychosis posing a danger to herself and her father.
The worsening condition of the woman puzzles T.C. and Topher as they have very little time to find a course of treatment before she can cause anymore damage to herself or the people around her.
Ragosa deals will financial struggles that threatens the celebration of his daughter's 15th birthday, and Paul has no other choice but to break some rules in order to help a kid with cystic fibrosis.
The show has actually experienced some negative reviews, but as Inquisitr pointed out, it was a huge hit for NBC over the summer and received an 83 percent audience score on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5.
Metacritic, on the other hand, gave Season one a score of 45 out of 100 based on an average of reviews. It does not currently have a score for season two listed.
The New York Times was quick to point out that following the success of "Grey's Anatomy," several doctor/hospital dramedies have failed. This show has some very expensive shoes to fill if it wants to survive on network television and win over an audience. But with the first season's ratings averaging 6.5 million viewers, it was certainly off to a good start.
