For the first time since his daughter was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in late January, Bobby Brown is allegedly preparing to leave her bedside to go on tour in Australia.

According to TMZ, Brown is scheduled to join Treach and Kay-Gee of Naughty by Nature for a three-set tour abroad sometime in late May. Brown canceled several gigs he had scheduled for the month of March after the only daughter he and Whitney Houston shared was placed on life-support and in a medically induced coma after being rushed to the hospital by live-in boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Since being hospitalized, Bobbi Kristina has never regained consciousness and recently grandmother Cissy Houston admitted to several media outlets doctors have told the family to prepare for the worse.

TMZ adds 46-year-old Brown remains leery about leaving his daughter's side, but is now contractually obligated to do so. Bobbi Kristina was recently moved from Emory Hospital to a long-term care center also located near Atlanta.

A family source recently told People that Bobbi Kristina is being cared for in a "quiet and peaceful" private room, where the family has brought along items from her home.

"The family has brought some things from home for her," said the source. "Not much -- just a few things, like a blanket and some pictures," they told the magazine. The source continued, "Everyone's all cried out by now. We love her and want her to recover."

Meanwhile, police have now launched a criminal investigation of the incident after several unexplained bruises and injuries were found on Bobbi Kristina's body. According to TMZ, Gordon is the primary target of the probe.

Bobbi Kristina's ordeal began almost three years after Whitney Houston's lifeless body was pulled from the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. Authorities later revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of the incident.
