NBA 2K15 Gameplay, Locker Codes, Roster Update, and Tips on Xbox One & PS4: Paul George Welcomed Back With Pink Diamond Card [Watch]
Paul George is back from his injury he sustained this summer while practicing with the U.S. national team. NBA 2K15 welcomed him back with a special video and a pink diamond card, FanSided reported.
The video starts with George dribbling on an empty court in slow motion. Just like George's real comeback to the NBA, the star had to eventually face competition. In the second half of the video George is dribbling past, shooting over and dunking on his opponents.
NBA 2K15 developers honored Paul George's comeback with a special pink diamond card. The Locker Code for the Paul George pink diamond card is D64UG-4RWAT-J9WCF-K9GXX-K7NSM
In a reversal of what was previously done, 2K Games announced that NBA 2K14 servers were back online, Gotta Be Mobile reports. On March 31, 2K shut down the online servers for the 2014 version of the NBA simulator. Gamers expected their multiplayer and online saves to stop working, but they thought their single player data would be fine.
Single player modes offered players the choice of playing online or offline. Playing online came with some perks, but players were not required to play online.
Some players did not realize that they were choosing to play single player mode online. The game does not offer an online game to be switched to offline.
After players logged their complaints about losing their single player data, 2K Sports decided to restore online access for last year's game.
2K Sports is one of the quickest companies to remove older games' servers. After just 18 months, games' servers are shut down. Compared to other video games, this is extremely fast. For example, EA Sports' Madden 12 still has its online servers running. Madden 12 was released in 2011.
2K Sports told Polygon that it will now wait up to 27 months before shutting down online servers for games.
What do you think of 2K Sports restoring the NBA 2K14 online servers?
