Saturday’s Powerball is here, and since there was no big time winner last Wednesday, the jackpot has once again rolled over and has now reached the sum of $80 million, with a cash value of $53.8 million.

There were 390,521 regular winners, and $3,408,198 in non-jackpot prizes awarded.

Wednesday’s lucky numbers were: 1, 19, 45, 46, 58, and 29.

On Friday a fellow claimed a previous $50 million Powerball jackpot prize at the Tennessee Lottery’s Nashville headquarters.

As reported in Knoxnews, Michael Duncan informed the lottery officials that he was actually not a regular player and had not originally planned to even play that day.

His migration to becoming a millionaire was all a spur of the moment.

Duncan stopped at a place called Rocky Top Market to purchase a soft drink, saw the Tennessee Lottery sign and just then decided to buy a single ticket.

He chose the numbers based on the ages of family members and the ticket happened to match all six of the March 21 Powerball numbers winning Duncan $50 million Powerball jackpot, which ended up being the third largest prize in Tennessee Lottery history.

Duncan elected to receive the lump-sum cash payment of $33,557,046.98 rather than the annuitized amount of $50 million.

According to Forbes, there are 10 things to do once you’ve hit the lottery, things like see a tax pro before you cash the ticket and avoid sudden lifestyle changes. But No. 1 on the cautionary list is to remain anonymous.

The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 31.85 and there are nine ways to win, with 1 in 175,223,510.00 in winning the grand prize, and a 1 in 5,153,632.65 in winning $1,000,000.
