In Thursday's episode of “Elementary,” Holmes and Watson will be investigating the murder of a professional skeptic, a fellow in the vein of “The Amazing Randi,” who debunked paranormal, religious, and scientific phenomenon for a living.

Episode 20, titled "A Stitch in Time," brings back the young actor Robert Capron, who plays a tech-savvy teenager named Mason on the series.

Next week's Episode 21, “Under My Skin,” will have the detective team join a manhunt to find the murderer of two New York City paramedics as well as a woman he abducted. Aside from all the typical action, some important information learned about Holmes’ sponsor, Alfredo (Ato Essandoh) will strain the relationship between the two ex-druggies.

The CBS series does a pretty great job of bringing in dynamic guest stars such as Kristine Johnson and Gina Gershon.

As reported by Spoilers Guide, Sutton Foster of “Bunheads," the comedy series about a Las Vegas showgirl who gets married on the spur of moment and ends up teaching ballet alongside her new mother-in-law, will have a guest starring role in an upcoming episode.

Foster will play a character named Tara Parker, who is described as a brilliant entomologist and the “queen bee” of New York's beekeeping scene.

As Holmes investigates a deadly outbreak of colony collapse disorder that threatens to wipe out the honey bee population in the Northeast, the idiosyncratic detective starts to suspect that Tara's work holds the key to the phenomenon.

In an interview with Playbill, the actress, who was a heavy hitter on stage before getting famous on the small screen, talked about what she has learned from doing television.

“I'm learning to just leap into the work. There isn't time to get in your own way or get scared, and every day is a brand new challenge. I'm doing things I have never done before almost every day, and that is exciting,” explained 40-year-old Foster.

Episode 21 of the third season of "Elementary" will air April 23.
