Even for a show with a name like “Revenge” there has been an awful lot of plotting going on.

In the upcoming Episode 20, "Burn," Victoria (Madeleine Stowe), who has just survived an attack, decides to take matters into her own capable hands.

As reported in Spoilers Guide, Emily (Emily VanCamp) is forced to come to terms with what she really wants to get out of all this vengeance.

In Episode 21, hauntingly titled “The Aftermath,” the character of Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart) will come back into Emily’s dark and complicated life. Mason is a big reason why Emily’s father David ended up behind bars for a terrorist attack he was not a part of.

Emily, of course, sought revenge against Mason, which resulted in him going to prison. Emily eventually broke him out, faked his death and tried to persuade the guy to keep all of his dangerous secrets to himself.

And now he will be coming back.

As reported in the International Business Times so far very little is known about Mason’s return beyond the news that he and Emily will have their face time in Emily’s car.

There has been some serious fan speculation that this might be the last season of the series, as episodes keep building toward a sense of finality.

Michael Ausiello at TVLine talked about the future of the series, saying that: “Based on what I’m hearing about the finale, there would have to be a major revamp if the show returns for a fifth season. Actually, forget revamp — there’d have to be a whole new show."

Episode 20 of ABC's "Revenge" will air on April 19, and Episode 21 will air on April 26.
