The big event in the latest episode of "The Royals" is Queen Helena's ball. Ophelia and Liam are both in attendance, but they have separate dates, according to Fashion & Style.

In the last episode, Nick finally got his wish, he was able to go on a date with Ophelia. During the date Ophelia receives several alerts on her phone regarding Liam and Gemma that upset her. Ophelia tries to show that she is happy by taking pictures with Nick and sharing them so that Liam will see.

At the end of the episode, Liam returns to Ophelia. He tells her that there is a ball coming up and he would love it if she would attend. He gives her two invitations and says "one for you, and one for your boyfriend."

The episode starts with Eleanor texting Ophelia asking her for help to pick out a dress. She reveals that behind her wardrobe she has a huge walk in closet. Instead of picking out a dress from the closet, she has some assistants bring in a rack of dresses for her. She calls this one of the "perks of being a princess."

Ophelia pieces through the dresses and finds out the perfect dress for Eleanor to wear. She said, "you must wear this one."

Eleanor said, "Great, that one's yours, now help me find one."

This new guy will make Eleanor "fall to pieces," according to E! News.

E! adds that this guy will bring out a different side in Eleanor. She will be "softer," and the website believes audiences will readily welcome this change.

At the ball, both Liam and Ophelia are trying to show that they are over each other. Liam shows up with Gemma and Ophelia shows up with Nick. Queen Helena arrives at the ball in style, shirtless men carry her in on a recliner. Later on in the episode, Queen Helena takes time off from the ball to have a secret meeting with Alistair.

Viewers find out that Alistair and the Queen actually have a lengthy history together, dating back to their teenage years. They are forced to meet secretly because of the Queen's prominence. Alistair tells Queen Helena that if the monarchy is terminated, things could change between them.

Eleanor and Jasper continue their odd relationship. Jasper finally tells Eleanor that he does not have a sex tape of her. Jasper tells her that she needs someone to control her, because that is what she really wants. Eleanor must agree for the most part, because she goes along with it.

The end of the episode features Liam inviting Ophelia to go to Monaco with him and his friends. He says she can only come if she does not bring Nick. Ophelia accepts his conditions and, along with Eleanor, they all drive away.
