‘Community’ Season 6 Episode 7 Spoilers: Britta and Ex Team up For a Guerrilla Marketing Campaign, Annie & Abed Look for New Handshake
This week, another episode of "Community" gets uploaded to Yahoo Screen. For those who have been following the show since it re-launched on Yahoo, there are plenty of laughs to go around, even though the budget for this show has been significantly reduced since its NBC days.
According to CarterMatt, the last two episodes have been a little disappointing. Even though they had great concepts in the beginning, they seemed to lack the delivery that is somewhat out of character for the show, considering the comedy drew a cult-following which landed it on Yahoo following it's network cancellation.
In the seventh episode of Season 6, titled "Advanced Safety Features," the episode will center around Britta (Gillian Jacobs). Though the promotional video is somewhat vague, it seems Britta will get involved with an ex-boyfriend for a covert marketing campaign. It is ironic though, since Britta has been notoriously unable to keep a secret and the fact that her name has been used in conjunction with "covert," indicates the episode is poised for laughter.
We can also see Abed (Danny Pudi) and Annie (Alison Brie) trying to come up with a new handshake, which was something Troy, who was portrayed by Donald Glover in the first five seasons, and Abed previously had on the show.
Series star Alison Brie, who is also known for her role in "Mad Men" as Trudy Campbell, Pete Campbell's wife, has been quite busy lately. While starring in the "Community" series, she has also acted in movies like "The Kings of Summer," "Sleeping With Other People" and "Get Hard."
In a recent article on W Magazine, she was interviewed in reference to "Get Hard," where she plays Will Ferrell's superficial fiancée.
"When I went for my physical, my doctor asked me with a straight face, 'Are you transitioning into soft porn?' " Brie said. "I was like, 'No! It's a comedy!' "
