'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Episode 22 Spoilers: Raj Loses Financial Support From His Father in 'The Graduation Transmission' [Watch]
Raj will suffer major consequences after he spends all of his rent money on a helicopter drone which gets broken into pieces in Thursday's all-new episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
A preview of the next episode, which is titled "The Graduation Transmission," reveals that Leonard will try on a very short and strange variation of a graduation gown after he is asked to speak at his alma mater's commencement ceremony.
Another clip from the trailer shows that Raj will lose all financial support from his father, who becomes very angry with him for being irresponsible with his rent money. According to CarterMatt, although Raj does not make a lot of money at his job, he is able to sustain his lifestyle and affinity for fancy cuisine through help and aid from his family.
The promo also teases that Howard, Sheldon and Raj will be shocked and somewhat insulted when Bernadette makes the suggestion that they call tech support.
According to Hollywood Hills, the synopsis reads as follows:
"Leonard will get asked to make an inspirational commencement speech at his old high school in New Jersey. As Penny and Leonard are about to leave for New Jersey, the flight will get canceled due to weather. Meanwhile, Raj will splurge his rent money on a helicopter toy drone.
"His father will find out and decide to take away his allowance. Howard and Sheldon will be working on calibrating the helicopter. Howard will want to take it apart and fix it. When Raj comes to pick up the helicopter from Howard and Sheldon to return it, it will be in a million pieces and Raj will freak out. Penny is going to come up with an idea to have Leonard make his commencement speech via Skype. She will even buy him a cap and gown, but the party store will only have a short sexy graduation outfit."
Season 8, Episode 22 of "The Big Bang Theory," "The Graduation Transmission," will air on Thursday, April 23 on CBS.
