The NBA Playoffs are in full swing and 2K Sports has an awesome offer for Xbox One owners.
This weekend, Xbox Live Gold members will be offered a free download of the full version of "NBA 2K15" for the Xbox One. The deal will run from Friday through Sunday, Polygon reports.
Starting Friday at 3 p.m. ET, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download the full version of "NBA 2K15." All of the game's modes and features will be accessible to them. The free game play and download will expire at 3:01 a.m. ET on Monday. All progress, achievements and game saves will remain on users' hard drives in case they decide to purchase the game at a later date.
After the trial period ends, Xbox Live Gold members will be offered a full purchase of "NBA 2K15" through a discounted bundle. This bundle will include some Virtual Currency, the in-game currency used to upgrade players' experiences in the game. The price will be reduced to $43.54 which is 33 percent less than the regular price.
Players hoping to download the free "NBA 2K15" game for Xbox One will need to ensure they have an active Xbox Live Gold membership and enough hard drive space available in their Xbox One consoles. The download size of "NBA 2K15" is a very large 46.61 GB, which means a long download process if a player has a slow Internet connection.
