No matter how much they like to see them go down, fans love it even more when they get to see a fallen star get back up on her feet.

And Liza Minnelli, the 69-year old singing legend who has had notorious bouts with drug and alcohol for decades, has given her audiences more than a few chances to enjoy her constant comebacks. The star of such classics as “Cabaret” and “Arthur” has completed a recent stint in rehab, and is out and enjoying herself just few weeks after she initially sought treatment.

As reported by ABC News, Scott Gorenstein, a spokesperson for Minnelli, explained the celebrity’s current situation, saying: "Liza Minnelli has valiantly battled substance abuse over the years and whenever she has needed to seek treatment she has done so."

Minelli, who throughout her career has been romantically linked to such luminaries as Desi Arnaz, Jr., Peter Sellers and Martin Scorsese, not to mention actually being married briefly to the songwriter Peter Allen and concert promoter David Gest, was photographed this past weekend outside of a Beverly Hills restaurant having a great time.

All signs indicate that she is doing well, and feeling so good in fact that she is heading back to work soon.

As reported by TMZ, who spoke with Minelli as she was leaving Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood garden restaurant PUMP on Wednesday night, the singer kindly revealed she was rehearsing for her next gig, although she did not say what that gig might be.

According to the gossip site, Minelli’s mood shifted around and got a little hard when they asked her about doing a "Wizard of Oz" remake.

She said she had already done voice work for a "Wizard of Oz" cartoon called “Journey Back to Oz.”

When she was asked is she was a cougar, then had the term explained to her, Minelli said that she had in fact dated younger men before but not right now.
