Jake Gyllenhaal proudly confesses he takes all his first dates to the same exact place.

According to Us Magazine, during a chat with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week, Gyllenhaal gushed he makes it a point of taking all his first dates to his mom's home.

"I think that's a good move," said the 34-year-old "Southpaw" star. He later added of his screenwriter mom Naomi Foner Gyllenhaal, "My mother ... thinks arranged marriages actually might be able to work, you know what I mean? Like, in a good way. She thinks if she picked for me, that I'd do a lot better."

Gyllenhaal has become so legendary for taking his mom's advice when it comes to those who might be his leading lady that his former girlfriend Taylor Swift mentioned meeting his mom in her 2012 hit song "All Too Well." In one verse she belted, "And your mother's telling stories about you on a tee-ball team / You told me 'bout your past thinking your future was me."

Swift previously told Us Weekly, "'All Too Well' was a tedious one. 'All Too Well' was the hardest to write because it took me a long time to filter through everything I wanted to say. It started out being a 10-minute song, which you can't put on an album."

Gyllenhaal and Swift briefly dated in 2010, and in the song she also specifically talks about a time when they visited sister Maggie's Brooklyn home for Thanksgiving dinner.

Among the song's lyrics, are also references to a black-and-white striped scarf she claims both of them sported during their brief courtship.

"Left my scarf there at your sister's house / And you still got it in your drawer," Swift's sang in the song.
