British actress and BBC darling Michelle Keegan has been voted the Sexiest Woman in the World on an FHM Magazine poll. This will be the actress's first year as the winner after taking runner up last year behind "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence.

According to Hollywood Life, Keegan beat out the likes of Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande and Margot Robbie, who all appeared in the top ten of the FHM List.

This accolade comes at a time when People Magazine also awarded a similar title to Sandra Bullock.

Keegan's fiancé , Mark Wright also couldn't be happier. 

"To all the fellas in the world I just want to say..... I'm sorry !!!! That beautiful creature is about to be my wife," he said via Twitter. 

The actress rose to prominence in the BBC series "Coronation Street" with her portrayal of Trina McIntyre from 2008-2014. She recently traveled to Dubai with family and friends, and on her return, she sported a  tan body with toned and highly attractive curves that are sure to be a hit with her future husband come their wedding day in a few short weeks, according to Look.

In an article on the Mirror, Wright's good friend, Toby Anstis, said, "He told me he was worried Michelle was posting one too many sexy pictures while on her hen do. Mark gets worried about his gorgeous bride-to-be in a bikini surrounded by so many blokes ogling her," referring to her new hen hairdo.

Just a few short years ago she entered the FHM polls at No. 30 in 2010. She quickly jumped to No. 4 in 2013, and then No. 2 last year, before taking the throne this year.

Speculation was abound that this year Kendall Jenner was going to take the top spot because of all her sexy photo shoots, modeling campaigns and the massive amount of publicity she had been getting. Her sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian also made the list ranging from 13th to 62nd, according to Hollywood Life.
