Hilary Duff on Tinder: 'Younger' Actress Says She Used Dating App to Find Dates
Hilary Duff wants you to know it's really her controlling the buttons of the Tinder account that is attracting so much attention.
According to TMZ, Duff recently confirmed that it's really her behind the profile and to prove it she claims to be preparing to go on her first Tinder date "with a regular ole non-celeb dude."
Duff shared her dating revelations during a recent appearance on the "Valentine in the Morning" radio show in Los Angeles. She later gushed the new dating enhancement app affords her the "first time in her life she's getting a chance to hook up with a total normie."
TMZ previously reported Duff recently filed for divorce from NHL husband Mike Comrie after a night during which he "drunkenly" propositioned several women at a Beverly Hills steakhouse, and the two are now embroiled in a custody battle over their 3-year-old son, Luca.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Duff listed their official date of separation as January 2013 on all her legal filings. Sources also told the website she made it a point of seeking primary custody of the child because of concerns over Comrie's "partying and drinking" lifestyle.
Both parties agree the couple has a prenup agreement in place and money should not be an issue in their uncoupling. The 27-year-old Duff broke onto the public scene as a teen starring as Lizzie McGuire in the TV network series. She also starred on several Disney Channel film projects, including the flick "Cadet Kelly."
Duff has also released several hit albums on the Walt Disney label, including the critically-acclaimed "Metamorphosis."
Meanwhile, 34-year Comrie has played 13 NHL seasons, the last with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2011. His best year came with the Phoenix in 2005-06, when totaled 60 points on 30 goals and 30 assists.
