A source is saying that J-Law is reportedly trying to wriggle out of the next and coming 'X-Men' installments.

Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult are said to have been caught off guard with news of a 2016 installment of 'X-Men.'

According to Radar Online's unnamed source, the two "feel they are prisoners of the X-Men movies and the director, Bryan Singer."

Singer has recently posted an update regarding 'X-Men Apocalypse' on his twitter account.

@BryanSinger posted: "Late night #XMen #Apocalypse story session. #Simon Kinberg @DanimallHarris @Mike_Dougherty It's snowing in Egypt!"

The director has always kept fans of the movie up-to-date with tweets regarding 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and 'X-Men Apocalypse' every now and then.

Singer was also responsible for the storyline of 'X-Men: First Class' wherein Jennifer Lawrence played the role of Mystique and boyfriend Nicholas Hoult played Hank who later turned into Beast.

Having been shocked to hear of another 2016 'X-Men' film on the way, Jennifer is reportedly taking actions to accommodate the shoot.

"Now they have to reshuffle their plans in order to accommodate a June shoot," Radar Online's source said.

It is a given that both Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult should make way for both 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and 'X-Men Apocalypse' as they have signed "strict" contracts with the 'X-Men' franchise valid for three films.

The three-film contract was signed 2010 - casting both in their roles in the 2011 'X-Men: First Class.'

According to the same source, Jennifer is reportedly not having any fun and is losing millions while sticking to the franchise.

"Jennifer especially is losing millions of dollars by doing these movies when she could have her pick of juicy parts," the source says.

"Jen knows 20th Century Fox, which produces the movies, is going to throw a lot of money at her to keep her involved in the franchise, but she's ready to move on.

They are not fun movies for her to make, and the only thing she likes about them is hanging out with some of those other actors-especially her boyfriend, Nicholas!" the source added.

'X-Men Apocalypse' will reportedly be a direct sequel to 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' which means that both J-Law and her Beast-ly boyfriend will inevitably be casted in the 2016 'X-Men' installment.

'X-Men Apocalypse' will be centered on villainous character, Apocalypse who was raised by Baal of the Sandstormers. The anticipated film will hit theatres May 2016.
