Chris Brown News Update 2015: Is 'Loyal' Singer Facing Battery Charges After Las Vegas Brawl?
Chris Brown could soon be facing battery charges and the possible revocation of his probation after allegedly brawling with another man during a pickup basketball game in Las Vegas.
TMZ reports police consider the 25-year-old Brown a suspect after an early morning fight broke out at the Palms Casino Resort just before 4 a.m. Monday morning. Witnesses told police Brown punched the man after they quarreled at the Hardwood Suite where he was staying.
The website adds by the time police arrived Brown left the scene. Police indicated he now has the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery and agreeing to appear in court on the charge or waiting to see if the district attorney will pursue charges against him.
Brown only recently settled a suit in Los Angeles over another fight that broke out during a basketball game that could have landed him behind bars on a probation violation stemming from his conviction in the Rihanna assault case.
For Brown, the bad break comes as rumors of him reuniting with model girlfriend Karrueche Tran are growing more pronounced. HollywoodLife reports the two have decided to take things "slow" in their relationship but are back together nonetheless.
The 26-year-old Tran split from the "Loyal" singer after news spread last month that he had cheated on her and fathered a daughter with another woman. The two spent last weekend in Las Vegas and are believed to have attended the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight.
"Chris and Karrueche are back together and taking things slow," a source told HollywoodLife. "And she's back to wearing his rings again."
Brown's daughter, Royalty, was born nearly a year ago to him and mother Nia Amey-Guzman.
