The penultimate episode of "Arrow" will be intense as Oliver McQueen, also known as Al Sah-Him, will get even closer to ascending into his new position as the leader of The League of Assassins.

Preview videos of the episode, which is titled "This is Your Sword," reveal that Ra's al Ghul will command Oliver, who has been brainwashed and has forgotten his true identity as a vigilante, to marry his daughter, Nyssa al Ghul. Ra's will also order him to destroy Starling City. In the meantime, Roy and Thea will reunite.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim also teased that the episode will feature an "epic fight scene" outside of Nanda Parbat as Team Arrow tries to stop The League of Assassins from attacking Startling City with a deadly virus.

"It is the most intense penultimate episode we ever had," said Guggenheim.

However, another sneak peek clip suggests that there might be hope for Oliver to remember who he really is when Maseo, his old friend and current League of Assassins member, links the virus to both of their pasts. As a result, Maseo's words may trigger Oliver to recall his past life.

According to ComicBook.com, the synopsis reads as follows:

Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) finishes his training and is left with two final tasks to become the next Ra's al Ghul. Ra's (guest star Matt Nable) threatens Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) and delivers some shocking news. Meanwhile, Malcolm (John Barrowman) makes a surprising offer to Team Arrow and Thea (Willa Holland) goes to see Roy (Colton Haynes).

"Arrow" Season 3, Episode 22, "This is Your Sword," airs on Wednesday, May 6 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
