Fans can look forward to an exciting all-new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Thursday night, which will feature Jo and Alaric's highly anticipated wedding and Damon's dilemma over becoming a human again.
Bonnie, Elena and Caroline will do all they can to make sure that Jo and Alaric's big day runs as smoothly as possible in the new episode, titled "I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime."
In the meantime, Damon will struggle with the decision of living a normal life as a human being with Elena or leaving the love of his life to continue living as a vampire. His brother, Stefan, won't make his dilemma any easier when he gives him a taste of the some of the drawbacks he will face as a human.
A sneak peek clip hints that although Elena will have a fairly easy time living as a human, Caroline will become overprotective since she is now susceptible to death.

"It's Alaric and Jo's wedding day and Elena and Bonnie (Kat Graham) do their best to help a stressed out Jo with the last minute preparations. After uncovering some life-changing news that Damon has been keeping from him, Stefan takes his brother on a road trip to give him some perspective on his future with Elena. Elsewhere, when Caroline returns to Mystic Falls after dealing with the fallout of her humanity-free rampage, she begins making amends with her friends and comes to a realization about her and Stefan's prospects of being together. Finally, when Bonnie begins having vivid nightmares that Lily is coming after her, she enlists Matt's (Zach Roerig) help in taking Lily down."
