Beyonce Met Gala Dress: 'Drunk in Love' Singer to Star in Givenchy Ad, Spotted in Brooklyn During Photo Shoot
There was more than met the eye when Beyoncé donned her sheer, barely there Givenchy gown Monday night at the annual MET Gala in New York City.
According to the Daily Mail, the "Soldier" singer has signed on with famed designer Riccardo Tisci to serve as the face of the brand on at least one upcoming ad campaign. On Thursday, the 33-year-old wife of Brooklyn-born rap icon Jay Z was seen in that very borough tirelessly posing for promotional photos.
Beyonce was wearing a fitted dress, which had a hood, as she struck pose after pose with Tisci at her side. The two were on location for several hours before calling it a day.
Most seem to agree Beyonce stole the show Monday night during the MET Gala. It was a clear-cut case of the woman making the dress, only the dress was more than capable of doing the exact same thing for virtually any other female.
Recently, Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles, wrote a letter to her daughters. In one section, she praised her oldest daughter for being a kind and compassionate person.
"Beyoncé, I wish people could see how you are when you're not in front of the camera or on the stage," Knowles said in the Time letter. "How compassionate and kind you are to people, how you look them right in the eye when you speak to them. How hard you work, how generous you are with your time and money. How you don't care if anyone knows about it because you do it from the heart."
As for Tisci, he has worked with a who's who list of A-listers. He designed the gown Kim Kardashian wore on the day she and Kanye west were married, and more recently, he cast Kendell Jenner in her first high-fashion campaign.
The 34-year-old Kardashian, who was accompanied down the aisle by her stepfather Bruce Jenner, and West were married in a private but extravagant ceremony before family and friends at the historic Forte di Belvedere in Italy last May.
