The movies have been invading the small screen as of late, with CBS recently picking up three series' that were previously feature films. As previously reported, "Supergirl" has been added to the network's fall lineup (in all fairness, that was a comic book first), and now, "Rush Hour" is getting a TV series adaptation.

According to USA Today, "Rush Hour" is a remake of the 1998 classic that starred Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. Although it was heavily billed as an action film, the movie was overshadowed by the comedic elements that combined the talents of Chan's Hong Kong police style as compared with those of the Los Angeles police detective Tucker played.

The two will not be reprising their roles in the upcoming series though. Jon Foo will be portraying the Hong Kong cop, and Justin Hires will be portraying the role of the L.A.P.D. detective in the CBS series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The 2011 Bradley Cooper movie "Limitless" has also been picked up for a TV adaptation. This time it is about a man who uses the abilities given to him through the use of a special drug, which opens up the power of the mind, to solve F.B.I. cases. The series will star Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter, Hill Harper and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.

"Criminal Minds" is also getting a new spinoff, despite the 13-episode run and cancellation of the previous spinoff titled "Suspect Behavior." This new series, which is titled "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders," will star Gary Sinise ("C.S.I. NY"), Daniel Henney and Tyler James Williams. The team will be tasked to help Americans abroad who have found themselves in perilous situations.

The network is also poised to produce the medical drama "Code Black," which is based on a feature documentary created by Ryan McGarry. This medical drama will be based in one of the most notorious ER's in the nation and will star Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville, Raza Jaffrey and Luis Guzman.
