New Year's Eve is just around the corner, and everyone knows Times Square is the place to be to bring in the New Year. Here is the latest on the celebrity performances that will help revelers welcome 2014 by lighting up the Nivea Countdown and Kiss stages.

Mellissa Etheridge was recently added to the Times Square New Year's Eve performance list. The singer is scheduled to perform "Imagine" by John Lennon as well as her own songs, "I'm the Only One," "Bring Me Some Water" and a brand new tune new tune, "Uprising of Love."

Etheridge joins a star studded performance list featuring 2013's best pop performers: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus and Icona Pop. Also get ready for special performances by some of music's greats including Blondie.

Blondie's performance will feature Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke returning to Dick Clark's stage after over 30 years. They will be joining newer band mates, Matt Katz-Bohen on keyboards, Leigh Foxx on bass and Tommy Kessler on guitar.

Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy will host the traditional New Year's party, which also broadcasted on ABC, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

ABC isn't the only channel bring the music this year.

Rodney Atkins will perform on Fox News Channel's All American New Year. Univision will host their special, ¡Feliz 2014! featuring Jencarlos Canela and El Dasa. In addition, Billy Joel will be celebrating in New York, but in a different borough. Catch Billy Joel as he performs at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Finally, the expected over 1 million Times Square revelers will be treated to a Military Salute courtesy of The USO Show Troupe, a Chinese cultural show courtesy of The Sino-American Friendship Associated and an exclusive trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Although only about 1 million will make it to Times Square, 1 billion are expected to watch the festivities from home, including the 60-second countdown sponsored by Toshiba Corp, so don't miss out, no matter where you're spending the last day of 2013.
