During a recent interview with the Wrap, comedian and television host Chelsea Handler was candid about her bad experience working with E! entertainment.

Handler slammed E! and said that she has lost respect for the network.

"I don't have a lot of respect for them," Handler told the Wrap. "I want to be somewhere where I respect the people I'm working with."

It's been almost a year since Handler left the network after having her show, "Chelsea Lately," air on E! for eight years. At the time of her departure, Handler spoke to the Hollywood Reporter and praised E! for providing her with the platform to air her successful late night series.

"I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I'm glad I went," she told THR.

Suzanne Kolb, the president of E!, echoed Handler's positive sentiments and described Handler as a "distinct voice" of late night who she was very "proud" of.

"We are very proud of 'Chelsea Lately's' long-running success and the unique space that the series carved out in late night television," Kold said in a statement.

She continued, "Chelsea brought a distinct voice to late night with her acerbic wit and fearless commentary."

But now that a significant amount of time has passed since the ending her show, Handler feels very differently about the network.

Though the 40-year-old television personality and comedian acknowledges the great opportunity she had working with E!, she revealed that she became annoyed and tired with talking about celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan.

"It was a great opportunity to give my friends jobs, it was a great experience and I'm grateful and I appreciate it but it was time to move on. I wanted to talk about things other than Lindsay Lohan there was only so much I could take," Handler told the Wrap.

In a separate interview with Howard Stern, Handler elaborated on her dislike toward E!

She described the network as a "sad, sad, place to live" and accused the network of being unorganized and a complete "failure."

So far, E! has not issued a statement on Handler's comments.
