In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, "Pitch Perfect 2" actress and comedian Rebel Wilson revealed her desire to play Bette Midler in a biopic someday.

Wilson also dished on her love for the hit TV series "Glee" and said that she would also love to play a female rapper.

"I was a fan of Glee. I'd love to do something where I play a female rapper. But movie wise I'd love to do a Bette Midler biopic and have all her songs in it. She is like legit, way cool and she's a fan of Pitch Perfect," Wilson said.

In addition to talking about her future dream roles, Wilson also talked about her wish to star in a possible "Pitch Perfect 3" film or a prequel film about her "Pitch Perfect" character, Fat Amy, Cinema Blend reports.

When asked to make up a premise for the "Pitch Perfect 3" film plot, Wilson said that her vision for the third film would include "all of the Bellas" coming together to become "a legit singing group out of college."

She added, "I also think a Fat Amy origins story would be awesome."

Cinema Blend's Brent McKnight suggests that a Fat Amy prequel would be a successful addition to the "Pitch Perfect" series.

"Fat Amy, as a character, hails from Tasmania, where she is the best singer with teeth, so an origin story for her would certainly be something of a spectacle (I feel like she'd have to fight a kangaroo)," McKnight writes, adding, "We would probably also see her become proficient at modern dance, olden dance, and mermaid dancing, which involves a lot of floor work."

"Pitch Perfect 2" hits theaters on May 15. The sequel centers around the Barden Bellas entering an international apace competition which no American team has ever won.
