Tiger Woods allegedly cheated on Lindsay Vonn, which supposedly led to their abrupt and recent breakup.

The Daily Mail quotes a source as admitting Woods was involved with a "faceless, nameless woman" during one of the periods the two superstar athlete's busy schedules kept them apart.

"He had a relapse in the sex department," the source added. "Lindsey found out about women again. Always while he's on the road. Just like when he was with Elin."

People reported that Woods' marriage to Elin Nordegren infamously ended in 2010 after several dozen women emerged to claim they engaged in affairs with the world's then top-ranked golfer. As part of a prenup agreement, Woods was required to pay Nordegren an estimated $200 million as a settlement.

Woods' supposed transgressions took place in Southern California sometime in February after he played in the Farmer's Insurance Classic. The source added Woods was forced to withdraw from the tournament, further hinting as part of licking his wounds he engaged in what amounted to a one-night stand with the still unidentified woman.

"Most men would drink over such losses," the source added. "Tiger has sex over it. Usually with local hookers whom he pays exorbitant amounts to, probably so they will want repeat business and won't tell."

Reportedly, Woods elected to confess to Vonn after he was publicly spotted with the woman. Despite pleas from family members and friends, Woods is rumored to have stopped going to his therapy addiction sessions some time ago.

For Vonn, all it took was one slip up. Reports are she coordinated the release of her public statement about their breakup to coincide with a time when she would be out of the country.

In deciding to call it quits with Woods, the source added Vonn is quite different from Nordegren and was fully cognizant of the fact "one relapse could lead to two and three and then he's off to the races."
