Khloé Kardashian is saying goodbye to the agonizing year that she had in 2013 and welcoming a "fresh new start" in 2014. The newly divorced Kardashian talks to British Cosmopolitan magazine about her divorce, her weight loss and her niece North West. Khloé is leaving the past behind and looking forward to a bright new future.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admits that she had one of the worst years of her life in 2013. Khloé finally filed for divorce on Dec. 13 after four years of marriage to basketball player Lamar Odom. The couple's happy T.V romance came to an end after allegations erupted about Odom's drug abuse and infidelities.

"I love the new year, new beginnings," Khloe tells British Cosmopolitan. "I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life." The Kardashian sister seems optimistic and satisfied with her newly single life, even through the pain she is still feeling from the split.

"I don't regret anything about my life ... my life has made me who I am at this moment, and I'm very happy with who I am. No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things." Khloé also talks about how proud she is about her 30-pound weight loss. "I'm feeling good .. .I've worked very hard on my body so I think now I can sex it up a little!"

However, being Kim Kardashian's little sister wasn't always easy for the distinctively different looking Kardashian. She recalls a tough childhood when even her mother, Kris Jenner, felt she needed a "nose job." "She didn't mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job ... I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it. I've grown into my face, but I've had makeup artist tell me, 'You should get a nose job.'" Khloé says she is not opposed to plastic surgery but that she is happy she has not gotten that nose job or anything else done.

Yes, Khloe has the world's worst mother (Yea I said it), but she luckily has a new adorable niece to be excited about. "North is only five-and-a-half months old but you can see she has opinions and a strong personality already" she said about sister Kim and Kanye West's daughter. "I'm kind of nervous to see what she's like when she's older but I think she'll be incredibly confident because Kim and Kanye are".

Khloé Kardashian has been able to keep her outgoing and funny personality through it all. It's good to see that she has remained the same person that we fell in love with through the years. She will always be our favorite Kardashian sister.
