Beyoncé attended a New York City fundraiser for Hillary Clinton hosted by music mogul L.A. Reid Wednesday night.

Politico reports the "Drunk in Love" singer was in the house for one of three $2,700 a plate events the 2016 Democratic presidential hopeful held across Manhattan on May 13.

The New York Post also adds Jay Z's better half was joined at the intimate gathering by the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Meghan Trainor. Beyoncé and Jay Z were both strong supporters of President Barack Obama during both of his runs for the Oval Office.

Sources told The Post that Clinton had the crowd eating out of the palm of her hand as she ragaled them with stories about how she'd twice declined offers from Obama to become Secretary of State, only to be reminded by husband and former president Bill Clinton "you turned me down twice too."

Later, when the issue of presidents leaving the White House with more gray hairs than they started with came up, Clinton told the crowd she was not worried.

"That's not going to be an issue for me, I've been dying my hair blond for years," she said.

Financier Steve Rattner and hedge-fund billionaire Mark Lasry also hosted events for Clinton. Rattner previously served as Obama's auto industry adviser and Lasry was the president's original 2013 choice for ambassador to France before removing his name from consideration.

Back in 2013, E! Online reports, Beyoncé helped the president officially kick off his second term with a rousing rendition of the National Anthem. Three years before that, she performed for the president and the First Lady at the 2010 State Dinner, as well as during 2009 Inauguration festivities.

In recent weeks, Clinton has picked up the pace with her fundraising. She recently held a similar event in Washington and has an upcoming one on tap that is slated to be co-hosted by DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg in California.
