Mortal Kombat X: Klassic Pack 1, Predator/Prey Pack, Tanya & More Characters Coming
More downloadable content is coming for Mortal Kombat X, and it might include a Story Mode DLC. Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon hinted that in addition to character packs, there might be a Story Mode DLC coming, according to Cross Map.
The first DLC pack added to Mortal Kombat X included the killer Jason Voorhees from the movie "Friday the 13th." Throughout the year, a total of four DLC packs are set to be released.
Players who already had the Kombat Pack for the game were able to access Jason May 5. Those who did not have the Kombat Pack had to wait until May 12. Also included in the first DLC pack for Mortal Kombat X was special horror skins for the characters Ermac, Mileena and Reptile.
There are more DLC packs coming. The next pack set to be released is the Klassic Pack 1. In this pack the playable character Tanya will be included. The pack will also come with Klassic skins for the characters Kano, Sonya and Liu Kang.
The Predator/Prey Pack will be the third pack to be released. This is a highly anticipated pack because it will come with the playable character Predator. The pack will also come with Predator-themed skins for the characters of Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion and Carl Weathers as Jax.
The fourth pack will be the Klassic Pack 2. This pack will include the playable character Tremor. It will also include Klassic skins for the characters Quan Chi, Jax and Kung Lao.
One fan asked Boon if the characters from the story mode who are unplayable are going to be patched into the game. Boon responded, "You mean like a story pack?"
"@LazyEyedJ @noobde So Ed are you secretly gonna patch in the NPC's from story to make them playable? EB: U mean like a "Story Pack" ?

A story pack could help add characters such as Frost, Kabal, Rain and Smoke that are not yet playable in the game.
