According to TMZ, Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez will join "X Factor" as co-hosts of the show.

According to a CNN source, Kardashian and Lopez are fine tuning the deal and they're set to start hosting on Nov. 1 when live shows begin.

"Those two want to do it, and the show is keen to have them," the source, who asked not to be named, said.

Host Steve Jones left after season one.

According to US Weekly, Simon was a fan of the Kardashian's "spunky personality."

"We have screen tested a load of people. . .It could be a Kardashian," Cowell said in a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres. "I think that would work. I'm quite a fan of not putting [experienced] hosts on this show. Because I think it's going to give it a different dynamic. So we have to find people who have a great chemistry, but Khloe is definitely up there in running."

Lopez is the host of EXTRA on NBC and MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. He was also a finalist in the third season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Kardashian is married to  NBA superstar Lamar Odom and is best known for her role on  "Keeping up with the Kardashian."

"X Factor" started it's second season in September and Britney Spears and Demi Lovato joined L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell on the judge's panel.
