In a matter of months, the sequel to the 007 film, "Skyfall" will be hitting the theaters and Daniel Craig's return as the infamous secret agent is definitely getting people excited.

To keep fans updated on what's set to happen in the film, below are the top 5 things you need to know before the film's arrival in theaters.

Movie Villain

Christopher Waltz's involvement in the film has been announced. According to Mail Online, while its been officially confirmed that the 58-year-old will be laying the villain Franz Oberhauser, it hasn't stopped speculation that the actor is actually Bond's famous archenemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Another confirmed villain is "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Bautista in the role of the assassin -- Mr. Jinx.

Bond Girls

The upcoming installment of the long-running spy franchise will not be limited to one beauty, rather they've named three women from all across the globe. The Guardian reported that Mexican star Stephanie Sigman has joined French actress Lea Seydoux (Dr. Madeleine Swann) and Italian celebrity Monica Bellucci (Lucia Sciarra) for the 24th bond film.

Plot and Storyline

The movie's storyline was announced a few months earlier and it's going to bring loyal fans back. The synopsis is found below (via Screen Rant):

"A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."

It's believed that the focus of the film will be Bond's childhood and the circumstances in his past that led to him becoming an orphan.

SPECTRE

Digital Spy noted that SPECTRE stands for Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, headed by the earlier mentioned Blofeld. Due to copyright issues, the organization has been absent from the Bond franchise for decades. With SPECTRE's return, it is expected that the villains will be back and worse than ever.

Bond and Company

As interesting as the history of Bond and the anticipation over what SPECTRE brings, fans can expect to learn more about the characters that surround Bond, namely M (Ralph Fiennes), Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw).
