Britney Spears Las Vegas Show: Performance Attracts Younger Audience to Sin City
Britney Spears has kicked off her Piece of Me Vegas residency and the turn out has been great. Luckily Britney has some hardcore fans who are devoted to her and have been loyal attendees to her Vegas extravaganza. Sin City is welcoming a younger crowd than they have ever seen before; seems like Britney Spears has gained the attention of this generation as well.
With the debut of the "Baby One More Time" singer, the long term-casino show saw an audience of about 4,500. The excited crowd spent the entire 90-minutes on their feet singing along to Britney's classic and new tunes. The show includes acrobatics, a ring of fire, confetti, a live band, costume changes, wig changes and a flying Britney.
A slide show of the pop star's most famous music videos and performances get us late-90s lovers super excited as we remember Spears at her prime. Oops... she does it again -- it's no surprise that Britney is lip-synching through out the show, but Britney fans should expect this by now. Ms. Britney Jean also jumps back into her Toxic bejeweled, see-thru cat suit, wowing the crowd who remembers the first time they saw it.
Britney, 32, and now a mother of two, signed up to perform 50 shows each in 2014 and 2015 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Other acts such as Elton John, Celine Dion and Shania Twain have brought an older crowd to the Vegas shows. Britney, however, has been able to keep her 1998 fans and bring on some new kids to pack. Even though she doesn't move like she used too, her dynamic songs still attract many people to princess of pop.
Other stars that were present at Britney's debut were Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert and Holly Madison. As of right now, everybody is happy with the success of the show. If the high numbers continue, the show has been rumored to be extended even longer than the 50 shows each year. If Brit really does choose to retire after this Vegas Residency, she is sure to go out with a bang!
